Generate energy in harmony with nature
Since the year 2000, we have been generating clean energy through several photovoltaic systems installed on the roofs of the sawmill. In 2001 we were awarded the German Solar Prize. Approx. 700 kWp are installed on our roofs and another 500 kWp are added by our regional customers and suppliers. Today our company is focused on the environmentally friendly generation of electricity from all regenerative energy sources such as water, solar and biomass.
The founders of our company felt committed to this goal. Four hydroelectric power plants and several photovoltaic systems, all of which generate clean and CO₂-free energy, play their part in generating energy that protects the climate and resources.
Our commitment to the climate and the environment was recognized in 2001 with the presentation of the German Solar Prize.
